Synopsis The Book of Hindu Imagery by : Eva Rudy Jansen
Hinduism is more than a religion; it is a way of life. Its rich and multicoloured history has made the structure of its mythical and philosophical principles into a highly differentiated maze, of which total knowledge is a practical impossibility. This volume cannot offer a complete survey of the meaning of Hinduism. It is an extensive compilation of important deities and their divine manifestations, so that modern students can understand the significance of the Hindu pantheon.

Synopsis The Manifestation Book by : Blair Abee
You were meant to live an abundant life, a life full of love, joy, peace, health, resources and personal fulfillment.Yet, we were all born onto a planet that is not easy to negotiate and which requires intelligence and cunning to create a sense of well-being for ourselves and for those we care about. Unfortunately, just getting through the day occupies much of our waking consciousness attention and personal fulfillment is elusive. This book is an exploration of abundance and how the development of your spiritual side can help you experience your own, personal, true abundance. The question of how to grow beyond a mere survival existence into a life of well-being has been the focus of many philosophers, authors and spiritual teachers for centuries. Its most recent highly publicized exploration has been around the Law of Attraction and how to "have everything you want in life". More fundamental than the Law of Attraction, however, is the Law of Vibration, which underpins the Law of Attraction. Also, more fundamental to having a new BMW appear in your driveway is the development of your Soul. It is your Higher Consciousness which generates the higher vibrations necessary to attract those experiences and things that support your personal growth and evolution. The book explores six key principles and offers very specific instructions about how to activate the principles. The principles that are important to know, understand and use are these:?We Live in an Abundant Universe? The Law of Vibration is the Key to Experiencing Abundance?Higher Consciousness is the Key to the Law of Vibration?Meditation is the Key to Developing your Higher Consciousness?Learn to Ask, Properly?Give in Order to Receive?Gratitude Will Keep Abundance Coming to YouExplore these principles in this book and activate them for yourself. Your life will be so much more enjoyable when you do.

Synopsis Minor White by : Paul Martineau
Controversial, misunderstood, and sometimes overlooked, Minor White (1908–1976) is one of the great photographers of the twentieth century, whose ideas exerted a powerful influence on a generation of photographers and still resonate today. His photographic career began in 1938 in Portland, Oregon, with assignments for the WPA (Works Progress Administration). After serving in World War II and studying art history at Columbia University, White’s focus shifted toward the metaphorical. He began creating images charged with symbolism and a critical aspect called equivalency, referring to the invisible spiritual energy present in a photograph made visible to the viewer. This book brings together White’s key biographical information—his evolution as a photographer, teacher of photography, and editor of Aperture, as well as particularly insightful quotations from his journals, which he kept for more than forty years. The result is an engaging narrative that weaves through the main threads of White’s life, his growth as an artist, as well as his spiritual search and ongoing struggle with his own sexuality and self-doubt. He sought comfort in a variety of religious practices that influenced his continually metamorphosing artistic philosophy. Complemented with a rich selection of more than 160 images including some never published before, the book accompanies the first major exhibition of White’s work since 1989, on view at the J. Paul Getty Museum from July 8 to October 19, 2014.

Synopsis On Being Human by : Jennifer Pastiloff
An inspirational memoir about how Jennifer Pastiloff's years of waitressing taught her to seek out unexpected beauty, how hearing loss taught her to listen fiercely, how being vulnerable allowed her to find love, and how imperfections can lead to a life full of wild happiness. Centered around the touchstone stories Jen tells in her popular workshops, On Being Human is the story of how a starved person grew into the exuberant woman she was meant to be all along by battling the demons within and winning. Jen did not intend to become a yoga teacher, but when she was given the opportunity to host her own retreats, she left her thirteen-year waitressing job and said “yes,” despite crippling fears of her inexperience and her own potential. After years of feeling depressed, anxious, and hopeless, in a life that seemed to have no escape, she healed her own heart by caring for others. She has learned to fiercely listen despite being nearly deaf, to banish shame attached to a body mass index, and to rebuild a family after the debilitating loss of her father when she was eight. Through her journey, Jen conveys the experience most of us are missing in our lives: being heard and being told, “I got you.” Exuberant, triumphantly messy, and brave, On Being Human is a celebration of happiness and self-realization over darkness and doubt. Her complicated yet imperfectly perfect life path is an inspiration to live outside the box and to reject the all-too-common belief of “I am not enough.” Jen will help readers find, accept, and embrace their own vulnerability, bravery, and humanness.

Synopsis The Physics of Manifestation by : Louis M. Houston
Manifestation is the process which transforms thoughts into reality. Many have written about manifestation and many have successfully applied it within their lives. The Physics of Manifestation provides a scientific explanation for how manifestation works and how the energy of concentration can be focused to transmit signals to remote sites. This book shows how different thought patterns, driven by underlying intelligence, can be used to manipulate probability. The theory is described with a precise mathematical format.

Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS) is associated with an assortment of physical, behavioural and cognitive abnormalities which create a broad range of care needs. Information about the syndrome is spread across a variety of disciplines. In this book the authors seek to identify and provide the latest findings about how best to manage the complex medical, nutritional, psychological, educational, social and therapeutic needs of people with PWS. Their approach is an integrated one, centred on the PWS phenotype. Both authors have been involved in the Cambridge PWS study, which is the largest and most rounded of the cohort studies of PWS anywhere in the world. The unique data it provides is the basis of this book.
