This book collects the Proceedings of the Workshop "Incontri di Fisica delle Alte Energie (IFAE) 2006, Pavia, 19-21 Aprile 2006". The workshop is the fifth edition of a series of workshops on fundamental research in particle physics, as carried on at the most important international laboratories, and possible fallouts in medical and technological applications. Researches in this field aim at identifying the most elementary constituents of matter.

This book collects the Proceedings of the Workshop "Incontri di Fisica delle Alte Energie (IFAE) 2007, Napoli, 11-13 April 2007". Presentations, both theoretical and experimental, addressed the status of Physics of the Standard Model and beyond, Flavour physics, Neutrino and Astroparticle physics, and new technology in high energy physics. Special emphasis amid this rich exchange of ideas was given to the expectations of the forthcoming Large Hadron Collider.

IBERGRID 2008 is the second edition of a series of Iberian Grid Infrastructure Conferences initiated in 2007 under the framework of the bilateral agreement for Science and Technology signed in November 2003 between Portugal and Spain, aiming to leverage the construction of a common Iberian Grid Infrastructure and to foster cooperation in the fields of grid computing and supercomputing. This book is the final outcome of IBERGRID 2008 - The 2nd Iberian Grid Infrastructure Conference. It is aimed at an audience of academics, researchers, students, industry specialists and practitioners in all branches of knowledge sharing a common need, that is, powerful computing, visualization and/or storage resources. This community will benefit from the Iberian Grid Infrastructure being implemented as it will provide easy and secure access to a larger and more powerful set of distributed resources.

CIPANP 2009 explores areas of common interest between nuclear physicists, high energy (particle) physicists and astrophysicists. These areas range from studies of the strong interactions that bind nuclei together to physics of the very early Universe and include such topics as neutrinos, hadron physics, spin physics, heavy ion physics, QCD and heavy flavor physics. The Conference papers include descriptions of searches for "new physics", phenomena that cannot be accounted for by current theories.

All papers in these proceedings are in English. IFAE is an annual conference on high energy physics.
