The collaborative efforts of Keith and Kristyn Getty, along with Stuart Townend, have produced long-lasting modern hymns for the church. Arranger James Koerts has created these contemporary arrangements of some of their best-loved praise classics. Titles: Across the Lands (You're the Word of God) * By Faith * Come, People of the Risen King * Compassion Hymn * How Deep the Father's Love for Us * In Christ Alone (My Hope Is Found) * My Heart Is Filled with Thankfulness * O Church, Arise * The Power of the Cross (Oh, To See the Dawn) * See, What a Morning (Resurrection Hymn) * Speak, O Lord * Still, My Soul, Be Still (with Be Still, My Soul). "Memorable melodies, chordal accompaniment often in a flowing broken chord pattern, and simple transitions to new keys make these attractive arrangements a delight to learn and to play at an early advanced level." Synopsis I Sing My Psalm by : Shelia P. Saders
I Sing My Psalm is a collection of topics taken to the Lord in prayer. It is reminiscent of the Book of Psalms in the Bible. While spending time in the presence of the Lord, so many things come to mind that we can talk with Him about. This book lets us see that God is concerned about everything that is a concern to us. As you read, may you fi nd that you are not alone in your struggle nor are you praising Him by yourself.

When the holy became the meek, the soul felt its worth. In The Soul Felt Its Worth, we explore a different Christmas hymn or carol each day through the month of December. We will discuss the history, theological basis, and include devotional content and study questions intended to guide a devotional journey leading to Christmas day.

Synopsis "Arms, and the Man I sing . . ." by : Arvid Løsnes
This study referred to as a "preface" is given this designation because its basic aim is not to offer an up-to-date overall assessment of Dryden's translation of Virgil's Æneid but, rather, to provide a relevant basis for such an assessment ?thus allowing for a wide range of readership. The relevance of this approach rests on two basic premises: that of R. A. Brower, who maintains "that no translation can be understood or properly evaluated apart from the conditions of expression under which it was made," supported by Dryden's expressed intention "to make Virgil speak such English, as he wou'd himself have spoken, if he had been born in England, and in this present age," together providing a genuinely relevant basis for an understanding of Dryden's translation, "the conditions of expression" here allowing the inclusion of all the possible implications this phrase includes.
