Synopsis In Our Hearts We Were Giants by : Yehuda Koren
In this remarkable, never-before-told account of the Ovitz family, seven of whose ten members were dwarves, readers bear witness to the best and worst of humanity and to the terrible irony of the Ovitz's fate: being burdened with dwarfism helped them endure the Holocaust. Israeli authors Yehuda Koren and Eilat Negev weave the tale of a beloved and successful family of performers who were famous entertainers in Central Europe until the Nazis deported them to Auschwitz in May 1944. Descending into the hell of the concentration camp from the transport train, the Ovitz family—known widely as the Lilliput Troupe—was separated from other Jewish victims. Dr. Josef Mengele was notified of their arrival and they were assigned better quarters and provided more nutritious food than other inmates. The authors chronicle Mengele's experiments upon the Ovitz's, and the creepy fondness he developed for these small people, even the songs he composed and sang to this family of singers, dancers, and klezmorim. Finally liberated by Russian troops, the family returned to their deserted village in Transylvania, and eventually found their way to a new home in Israel. They resumed their careers, overcame their handicaps and became wealthy and successful performers.

Synopsis Diary of a Giants Fan by : Richard L. Chilton
This is a diary of a Giants fan's memories of watching over some 400 games. The book begins with the formation of the team. It serves not only as a recollection of memories to all fans of the New York Giants, but also acts, by its accuracy and thoroughness, as a historical document. It precisely describes those memorable games in franchise history that followers of the Big Blue will vividly recall. Author and Norwalk, Connecticut resident Richard L Chilton takes you on a game-by-game analysis beginning September 17, 1920, with the formation of what would two years later be known as the National Football League. This diary could only have been written by Richard, whose family has had season tickets for over 70 years. Synopsis Golden Heart/Deep Soul (Grovehill Giants Book 2) by : Stephanie Perry Moore
The Lockwood Lions’ crosstown rivals, the Grovehill Giants, seem to have it all. Or do they? When the cheer squad and the ballers get together, it always gets intense. But there are two sides to every story—whose side are you on? Each novel in the flip is approximately 30,000 words–170 pages. The ladies of Savvy Girl—Skylar, Ariel, Vanessa, Victoria, and Yaris—have their ups and downs. But they won’t let their drama interfere with the state title. The ballers of Fresh Guy—Ford, Ryder, Emerson, Stone, and Hagen—are tough athletes and grand showboaters. But can they take it to the Dome? Golden Heart: The gorgeous Ariel Holiday always gets what she wants—according to her. After crossing the line one-too-many times she has no one to turn to except Ryder when something terrible happens to her family. Deep Soul: Ryder-super fine baller and captain of Grove Hill’s defense gets a little too friendly with a smokin’ hot teacher. After connecting with beautiful Ariel, he’s trying to get back on track, but Ryder’s mother and Ariel’s father have some serious objections to this budding relationship.
