Wheeler's Cavalry was the "blue collar" cavalry of the war. Tough, durable, tenacious and constantly on the prowl, they threatened the front, flanks, depots, rail lines, and raiding columns of the Union. Also included is General Wheeler's account of The Santiago Campaign of 1898.
