Synopsis Ambrosius by : Preston Walcker
Decorated war hero Chase Huntsman is a camp caretaker living on the pristine shores of Lake Whatcom in the forests of northwest Washington. When a massive winter storm pounds the region, he is forced into action to save Desiree Chandler, the sole occupant of a runaway boat, just before the craft is smashed on the rocks. In the storms aftermath, Chase searches the wreckage and finds a valuable golden artifact left behind by the boats craftsman, who just happens to be an international fugitive who disappeared thirty years ago. The find propels Chase and Desiree on an adventure-laden treasure hunt that threatens to unmask an old and dangerous family secret. When powerful forces unite to stop them, the two learn too late they may have made a grave error in following the clues left in the wreckage. Some secrets are better left in the darkbut some risks are worth taking.

The Land Where Wisdom Speaks, Where Trees All Dance and Play is a playful allegory about the Christian life depicting the Fruit of the Spirit as personalities come alive. The book further includes a chapter on the armor of God, and another on Rhema in the authoraEUR(tm)s unique allegoric format. The book began as a vision resulting from the authoraEUR(tm)s prayer for wisdom over six years during a time of self-imposed hardships, enticing temptations, and impassioned struggles. Synopsis Love, Violence, and the Cross by : Gregory Anderson Love
Does God use violence to redeem us? What is the relationship between divine love and violence in regard to the saving significance of the cross of Christ? In Love, Violence, and the Cross, Gregory Love dialogues with two responses to this question, while presenting a third alternative in which Jesus's death is simultaneously a crime and an element of God's saving actions. Through familiar stories in history, literature, and film, Love presents five constructive models that cumulatively affirm God's saving act in the person and work of Christ while letting go the myth of redemptive violence. They affirm redemption, but one with a different shape: Instead of exacting the absolute punishment, God redeems by "making good" God's promise to humanity to secure human life. Love argues that God is nonviolent, while retaining the core idea presented in the New Testament witnesses: that reconciliation occurs in the work of Christ, and that the cross plays a role in that divine work.
